Letter from Canadian Classics Manager Tom Woods

Hopefully we are able to keep our mid-summer friendly fixture between our two nations going for many years and we are especially happy to be hosting Team America in Regina this year. I am copying this email to Karl Fix who is Mr. Rugby in Regina and he is going to be helping with the liaison work with you guys. Karl will be forwarding a lot of the essential information like information on Saskatchewan, hotels and other travel arrangements.

Of note, there is a huge country music festival going on in Regina the weekend we are playing and we believe we will be part of a double header fixture with two of our Super League Teams. The hospitality in Saskatchewan is second to none and the Regina Rugby Union is very well established so we should be the biggest ticket in town sportswise on the July 14-16th weekend. The festival has names such as Alan Jackson and Randy Travis playing so it will be weekend with many good entertainment options and everyone from the Canadian and US Prairies in the *Queen City*.

Please do not hesitate to contact me or Karl with any questions as we will be
working on ensuring everything goes smoothly for you guys.

Cheers and talk to you soon,
Tom Woods, Canadian Classics
