Team America supported the USASevens in Los Angeles at the Eagles Nest.
USA SEVENS RUGBY REPORT
Feb. 11th & 12th, 2006
Team
America supported the USA Eagles 7s team at the USASEVENS in Carson, CA
at the Home Depot stadium. The USA 7s competed against 15 other
countries under sunny skies and warm 70s temperatures.
England
surfaced as the Cup Champions after pounding Fiji in the finals. The
Eagles played well, though only winning one match over Mexico.
A
20’ x 20’ Hospitality tent called “The Eagles Nest” was provided by
tournament owner Jon Prusmack, Edward Roberson Director of Business
Development and Event Chairman Ray Peterson.
Beverages, finger
foods and Sandwiches were provided complimentary both days. The tent
was strategically located directly on the main terrace entrance.
The Eagles Nest banner was proudly displayed at the front entrance of the tent, donated by Team America member Kevin Kiddo.
During the weekend 58 registered guests enjoyed the hospitality and 18 signed up as members raising $1825.00 in dues.
USA
Eagles 7s coach and Team America member Al Caravelli had his team sign
a Team America rugby ball to be used by TA to raise additional funds.
Team America members manned the tent from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day.
